Corrections
How an error is fixed, and how you can tell it was
Corrections are published, dated, and never silent. A page that changes its facts without saying so teaches a reader that its facts were never load-bearing.
Anyone may report an error: the link on every card carries the record's code in the subject line, and a property correcting its own entry is answered first.
Where a record is withdrawn, the code is retired and its address is kept. The old page states the code, the date, the grounds, and where the object is now held. A withdrawn code is never reissued to a second subject, and the property key stays with the physical object wherever its record travels.
The register applies this to itself before asking it of anyone else.
