Verification
What confirmed means on these pages, and what it does not
Every record is written by the register and confirmed by nobody until the property confirms it. Each card carries a Verification block that says which state it is in, and the state is not decoration: a figure we could not confirm is marked, never invented.
Where sources disagree the card carries the disagreement. Three published counts of the same bungalows are three published counts, and the register prints all three rather than choosing the one that reads best.
Confirmation means a person at the property answered a specific question with a figure or a fact, and the date is recorded. A press release is not confirmation. Warm language is not confirmation. Where a reply avoids the question, the question is narrowed and asked again, and the record stays unconfirmed in the meantime.
Being on site is a different claim from having researched a property, and the register distinguishes the two rather than blurring them.
